Tour Plan

Day 1 - ARRIVAL AT LEH - Altitude: 11,562 ft.

Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you'll be received by the driver and transferred to House Boat. After lunch, we will proceed for sightseeing of Srinagar (Gardens & Shankaracharya if permitted). In the evening, you can have a ride by Shikara in Dal Lake (Own Cost). Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 2 - ACCLIMATIZATION DAY & LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING - Altitude: 11,562 ft.

Full day sight-seeing of monastery & palace around Leh. After breakfast proceed to Nimoo (Sangam of Indus & Zanskar River) then drive back to Leh. Enroute visit Hill & Pathar Sahib Gurudwara Then visit Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. Stay overnight in Leh.

Day 3 - LEH TO TURTUK VIA KHARDUNGLA PASS (Approx 225 kms) - Altitude: 9,846 ft.

After breakfast, we start our ride to Turtuk Village via Khardungala pass (18380 ft), which was the highest motorable road. Turtuk is the last Civil Village at Indo-Pak Border with 100% Balti community (Baltistan) residents. Turtuk is also famous for several types of Apricot.

Enroute visit to: Khardungla Pass, Nubra Valley. Overnight stay at Turtuk in a basic guest house. Route: Leh - Khardungala pass - Nubra Valley - Turtuk.

Day 4 - TURTUK TO DISKIT (Approx 100 km): - Altitude: 10,315 ft.

After breakfast start your journey to Diskit-Nubra Valley-The cold desert of Asia. In the evening visit famous sandunes of Ladakh in Hunder and Camel Safari in sandunes.

Enroute visit to: Hunder - Cold desert of Asia, Nubra Sand Dunes Overnight stay at Diskit. Route: Turtuk-Hunder - Diskit.

Day 5 - DISKIT TO PANGONG (Approx 230 km): - Altitude: 13,862 ft.

After breakfast, visit to 'Maitreya Buddha' (height 32 meters); then proceed towards the most beautiful Pangong Lake via Shyok Village. Visit 3 Idiots shooting point at Pangong.

Overnight stay at Pangong (or nearby) in tents Route: Diskit - Pangong.

Day 6-PANGONG TO LEH (Approx. 220 kms.): - Altitude: 11,562 ft.

After breakfast drive to Leh via Changla Baba Pass 17,585 ft (it is claimed to be Worlds 2nd Highest motorable road). Enroute visit Thiksey, Shey, Sindu Ghat.

Overnight stay at a Leh Hotel.

Route: Pangong - Chang La Pass - Leh
