Tour Plan

Day 1: Srinagar

Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you'll be received by the driver and transferred to House Boat. After lunch, we will proceed for sightseeing of Srinagar (Gardens & Shankaracharya if permitted). In the evening, you can have a ride by Shikara in Dal Lake (Own Cost). Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar to Kargil (approx. 205 km)

After breakfast we'll drive to Kargil via Sonamarg, Zojila Pass and Drass (second coldest inhabitant place in the world), visit Vijay Smarak (war memorial) and stay overnight in Kargil.

Day 3: Kargil to Leh (approx. 230 km)

After breakfast drive to Leh, visit Fotula Pass (Alt. 13,478ft.), Namik la Pass (Alt. 12,139 ft.) on the way and have Lunch. After lunch visit Lamayuru, Moonland, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar River, Magnetic Hill & PatharSahib Gurudwara. Overnight in Leh.

Day 4: Leh Sightseeing

Full day sight-seeing of monastery and palace around Leh (approx. 78 km) After breakfast visit Hall of Fame and then visit Thiksey, Shey, Sindu Ghat. Then you can have a lunch. After lunch visit Shanti Stupa& Market. Stay overnight in Leh.

Day 5: Leh to Turtuk (approx. 225 km)

After breakfast drive to Turtuk via Khardungla pass17,582 ft. (one of the World's highest motorable roads) & Diskit-Nubra Valley and reach beautiful Turtuk, a place which was with Pakistan till 1971 and recently opened for Indians. Will reach Turtuk till afternoon and explore the unexplored. Stay in Guest Houses/Tents.

Day 6: Turtuk to Diskit (approx. 100 km)

After breakfast explore village Turtuk, visit Thang border & after lunch, start your journey to Diskit-Nubra Valley-The cold desert of Asia. Visit famous sandunes of Ladakh in Hunder and enjoy Camel Safari in sandunes. Overnight at Diskit.

Day 7: Hotel/Camp Diskit to Pangong (approx. 230 Km)

After breakfast, visit to 'Maitreya Buddha' (height 32 meters); then proceed towards the most beautiful Pangong Lake via Shyok Village. Visit 3 Idiots shooting point at Pangong. Spend the night at a camp (tents).

Day 8: Pangong Lake to Leh (approx. 160km)

After breakfast drive to Leh through Changla PassAlt. 17,590 ft(it is claimed to be Worlds 2nd Highest motorable road). Overnight stay at a Leh

Day 9: Return Journey

After breakfast Transfer to Leh Airport. Tour ends.
